Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to head our Commercial Leasing function. This role will be responsible for driving portfolio-level leasing strategy, maximizing asset value, and shaping long-term revenue outcomes across our commercial assets.
The incumbent will operate as a business partner to leadership, contributing to investment decisions, asset positioning, and overall portfolio performance—beyond traditional leasing execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Strategy & Value Creation

  • Define and execute a portfolio-wide leasing strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Drive Net Operating Income (NOI) growth, yield optimization, and occupancy quality
  • Provide strategic inputs on asset positioning, repositioning, and redevelopment initiatives
  • Align leasing plans with broader investment and monetization strategies

Market Development & Demand Generation

  • Develop proactive strategies to drive demand across key asset classes (office, retail, mixed-use)
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporates, retail brands, and institutional partners
  • Anticipate and respond to evolving market trends (e.g., flexible workspaces, hybrid models, experiential retail)

Commercial & Investment Alignment

  • Partner with senior leadership to provide leasing insights for capital allocation and asset-level decisions
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, feasibility assessments, and return optimization (IRR/yield)
  • Balance occupancy and rental value considerations to maximize long-term portfolio returns

Strategic Deal Leadership

  • Lead negotiations and closure of large, high-impact leasing transactions, including anchor tenants
  • Establish and maintain CXO-level relationships with key clients and brokerage partners
  • Strengthen the organization’s positioning as a preferred partner in the commercial real estate ecosystem

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

  • Build a robust market intelligence framework to track demand-supply dynamics, pricing benchmarks, and competitor activity
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance portfolio performance

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Projects, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure alignment between leasing strategy and execution
  • Provide market-led inputs into design, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer and market

Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing leasing team
  • Drive a shift toward a more consultative, insight-led leasing approach
  • Establish strong governance, reporting, and forecasting mechanisms

Candidate Profile:

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial leasing with exposure to portfolio or multi-asset strategy
  • Strong network across corporates, retail brands, and IPCs
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value and complex leasing transactions
  • Proven ability to influence business decisions and senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with a P&L-oriented mindset
